How do plug-in hybrids compare to gas hybrids in terms of carbon footprint? I know that the majority of electricity in this country is generated by burning coal, so by having a plug-in aren’t you effectively having an inefficient coal powered car?

electric is never really going to work. it’s upsetting, but they never have the life diesel cars do. a fiat panda gets 55 miles to the gallon minimum, which kills the prius. cause the prius is more like 40mpg
