Highway speed is bullshit. My car opperates at 33 mpg at 80 and 29 mpg @ 65. It has to come down to final gear ratios and that crucial point where your engine is working most efficiently and being wasteful b/c by the time i get up to 90 i’m back down to 29 mpg again. So its all about finding that sweet spot, but all cars are different. MOST DON’T run as efficient at 65, its just a proven fact.
how about the car manufacturer makes a car that can get good milage and low emission and adjusts to my driving style..

MPG has nothing to do with the fact that all gas tanks become inevitably empty and the gas it once contained had still conjured and spout carbon dioxide. Limiting the amount of emissions is a lot more complex than simply increasing the distance you may travel by implicating driving habits into a formula. If leaving a “carbon footprint” was of serious concern, you would ride a bike through a 30 mile commute and not cut corners in a vehicle by acting like you understand what the world needs most.
my car gets 23 mpg, once i go over 55 the economy suffers, BUT once i hit 80 mph i get 40 mpg…..the epa are fuckin retards
