Your Kid Will Love Their Race Car Bed

One of the favorite ways a young boy has to liven up their bedroom is a cool race car bed. Most boys have a great affection for things like cars, fire engines, and anything like that. So why not give them an extra special way to sleep at night?

If your good at woodworking, you can even look into making race car beds yourself if you want. You have a choice when you buy them though between plastic materials or wooden race car beds. Remember you can always change the colors with some non-harmful paint too.

Let your kid have a son in the room’s color scheme, even if they pick out an odd color like orange that you may not want to switch the whole room over to. Just painting one wall in the room with that distinctive orange can make a huge difference in the d?cor.

Race car beds are not like your normal bed, and kid who’s normally tough to get into bed, may be more willing to hop into bed now. Designing the room around a race car bed can be a lot of fun, and even a family project you take on.

Don’t forget about the decorating of the rest of the room. You can make it look as if it was a garage. It’s a really cool affect that will have your child enjoying the look of the room. Use a stack of tires that you get and clean up, place wood on the top, and bolt it down. That will make one great nightstand for your child.

A dresser can be painted up in red, and with added features that make it look just like a big toolbox. If you place a race car bed close to the wall, add a mural on that wall so it looks like the car just drove from that spot.

Using the race car beds as your focal point in the room is a way that you can have a fun look for your son. There are many drivers out there, some that your son may be able to associate with and have fun cheering them on during races.

Don’t forget that you should compare several different places, especially if you’re looking for a specific driver or type of car. Let your child decide on the driver if you’re going with that type of theme. Or simple just do a car theme in the room instead. Placing up different pictures or stencil the walls to add more cars. With a room you may even want to consider stickers they can easily place on the wall and take off.
