Lately, it seems like everyone is trying to do more with less, even in the automotive industry. Car buyers want vehicles which have lots of power, are reliable, and use as little fuel as possible. Car manufacturers can deliver a big punch from a small engine through the use of a turbocharger. Many Volkswagen and Audi vehicles use turbochargers, which is one reason why these brands of vehicles are among the most popular, fun to drive, and fuel efficient vehicles on the road today.

K&N has designed an air intake system (part number 69-9504TTK) for 2009-2010 , Eos, CC, GTI, and Audi A3 vehicles equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine. The K&N intake system replaces the vehicle’s factory air box and air intake tube with a -bent aluminum tube and open element cone filter, which work together to eliminate restriction and allow the engine to perform at its full potential.

K&N engineers designed this air intake to be easy to install with common hand tools and photo-illustrated step-by-step instructions. The vehicle’s factory air box and filter are replaced with K&N’s washable RX-4730XD XStream® top air filter and a metal heat shield assembly. The heat shield helps to funnel cooler outside air into the RX-4730XD air filter and helps isolate hot engine heat allowing a clean, cool air supply for the turbocharger to inhale. The -bent intake tube efficiently channels the incoming air flow from the filter to the turbocharger, in a design compatible with all factory emissions equipment and sensors. The RX-4730XD air filter provides outstanding engine protection and it will last for up to 100,000 miles before service is necessary, depending on driving conditions.

Results from testing on K&N’s chassis dynamometer shows the 69-9504TTK air intake system provides a 9.19 HP increase at 4853 RPM when tested on a 2009 Audi A3 with a 2.0 liter turbo engine.  Increased performance does not have to sacrifice reliability; the K&N 69-9504TTK is backed by K&N’s Million Mile Limited Warranty and Consumer Protection Pledge, and is compatible with your vehicle’s engine management software so no vehicle modifications are necessary in order to realize this added performance.

The K&N 69-9504TTK will fit the following Volkswagen and Audi vehicles:

2010 2.0L
2010 VOLKSWAGEN GTI. 2.0L
2010 VOLKSWAGEN GLI 2.0L

  1. this is absolute garbage. find jared allen's 2 (YES, TWO) intentional helmet hits on matt schaub's knee in the same game, and then watch the clip from two weeks later for an obvious head-hunting hit on aaron rodgers. he essentially head butted him with a forward dive, and then had the audacity to wave his arms in a sort of 'whoa, i couldn't stop my momentum' plea to the ref.

if i were allen (i'd shoot myself, but before that…) i'd be laughing all the way back from goodell's office. $25,000???? seriously. fines under $500,000 mean nothing to these people. absolutely nothing. handing out fines like this in the NFL is like handing out coupons for Bed Bath and Beyond at a Gwar concert.

i'm all for the 'punishment fitting the crime,' but i think we need it to fit the perpetrator as well. players react to missing gametime. $25,000 is a weekend of drinks and a ride on the Love Boat for a guy like Allen. the guy is 26 years old and thinks it's funny that his number is 69, has a history of drunk driving and dirty play, and he's the one getting breaks. laughable, if only his status didn't affect the packers' season.

  2. Personally I don't understand why you ass hurting bastards have to get all upset because one of your “beloved” bands is now getting a lot more recognition because of Fable 3. Greedy bastards is what you are, you're? so indie and you want everyone to know. BUT! They cannot listen to what makes you so “unique” fucking tools. You can't be unique in a world of 6.7 billion which has doubled in 70 years from 3 million. This makes you not so special. OH NO THIS IS GOING ON MTV AHH IM? GONNA BE SAD

  6. Congrats on the Upper!! I don't think you're doing much wrong for 100-yards. It's a short 14.5″ barrel with welded-on Vortex to make it legal – and has Standard M4 double heat shield type handguards. It's not free-floated, so it's possible to bear down on the barrel and get some shot dispersion. Also (at least on mine) the rear aperture is a lot bigger and more of a “Ghost Ring” for CQB purposes than the tiny peep-hole hood on my match-rifle.

I'd look for a free-foating fore-end to take the pressure off John's awesome barrel – Noveske uses custom-done SWS rails, but another good one is Daniel Defense.

Boomershoot takes place at 25-yards??? 4-inches at 25-yards should be pretty easy but you'll have to jack the front-sight way the hell up.

I put these targets up at 50-yards and shot at it with my Noveske N4 upper. A Quarter is a cunt-hair shy of one inch.:

I'm (my damn eyes) at the age where I had to change-out the MAtch Rifle's rear aperture for a LARGER one because I was seeing “whiskers” – age has its drawbacks…

  7. There is a sensor on the air filter box that needs to be plugged back in with your new filter. I would take it to a reputable repair facility and have it diagnosed, most shops can do this for under 100.00
