BMW X4 off-road coupe under consideration: report
Reports from Europe have revealed that BMW is considering producing an X4, which would be a smaller version of the X6 off-road coupe.
A source from within the German luxury car brand revealed to UK website Autocar that although it is yet to be given the nod for production, the X4 is indeed being looked at seriously.
“We haven’t made any firm decision … however, the X6’s success shows there is a continued demand for sporty off-roaders,” the source said.
Since its launch in 2008 when it was labelled “the automotive world’s answer to the question nobody asked”, ‘nobody’ has purchased 80,000 examples of the X6 around the world, doubling initial targets.
In Australia, BMW sold 112 X6s in the first quarter of 2010, and last year outsold the Porsche Cayenne (573 vs 562).
It has been speculated that an X4 could use the platform of the upcoming X3, which is due for release late 2010/early 2011.
BMW initially gave hints of an X4-style vehicle in 2001 when it unveiled the X Coupe concept at Detroit.

A tricky one, the line of defitions has become blurred, I don't consider the porsche cayenne turbo a supercar, it's just a very ugly, very fast 4×4,
A supercar should be a car that is totally conserned with going fast, forget looks, boots space and creature comforts.
Yes many cars available today will do more than 200mph, because technology has advanced, in the 1980's, when VCR's were new and CD's didn't exist, 200mph was a technically very difficult to acheive in a road car, so the ferrari F40 is a hypercar innit's own right, even today.
Sportscars are cars that can go very fast when you want them too, but, can be used everyday to a modest standard, like the porshce 911 and the Audi r8.
Supercars are commented cars of speed only, but are available to anybody who has the neccesary dough.
Hypercars are similar but the owners are normally hand picked from a list of thousands, there production is usually limited too.
That's how I see the terms used today, A ferrari enzo is a hypercar, whilst the 360 is a supercar.

The Vikings have not played their best game yet this season, I am not saying we will see it this week but when they do play their best they can and will beat anyone in the NFL. We saw a glimpse that first quarter. With a team like this though there is no room for conservative play, last week should really tell the coaches something keep firing till the other team has no hope. Please.
