believe it or not that's about the average price for it any where you go to now days.i know it sounds high ,but considering what all the have to do,that's really cheap,make sure though that they give you a real good warranty on it,that's a real important thing when getting one re-built,you are paying more for gas than we are,ours is around 2.50 right now,good luck with the transmission.
