The Instrument Panel Of Your Vehicle

There are a lot of measuring gadgets if you take a look at your car’s dashboard. This whole panel with all the measuring device on it is called the . The main function of the is to make sure that the drivers will see the light indicators that are indicatory of car problems. The light indicators may blink or may not light at all and the arrows will move to indicate if your car’s oil pressure and fuel are still okay or not so you can have it checked.

However, you might wonder how the gets the information from the car? A car has an engine computer that is working together with the instrument cluster. This engine computer gathers information from the car and is displaying them to the driver through the instrument cluster.

What are these car computer parts that are used in getting information? One of them is the ECU, which checks the temperature of the coolant. There is also the transmission controller that will take care of the vehicle’s speed.

The gathered information from these parts is then distributed and collected in the communications bus. This data being sent by the engine computer contains two parts, which are called the header and data. The header serves as the numeric identification of the data that will be sent. For instance, the temperature data will be dispatched to the communication bus by the car computer. With the header, the communications bus can detect that the information received is about the coolant’s temperature.

The next part is called the data. This is now the numeric value that is corresponding to the exact information value. For example the temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore, the data that is going to be sent to the communications bus is also 200.

From the communications bus, the information will now then be distributed to the appropriate gauges in the . This is the information that you can see while you are driving.

Since the plays a crucial role for your car, you should make sure that your instrument cluster is performing well. Make time to have it regularly checked, maintained and calibrated for you to be able to get the precise value for you to always stay safe on the road.

This is the whole process on how information are being relayed from the engine computers to the to give the reading. With this, you can see that every part of the car is working together to let you know if something is wrong with your car.

  1. So i read your comment. It's wrought with Palinesk style rhetoric, absent of any facts or proof, or indication of any semblance of anything beyond a drama induced diatribe.

It's obvious you have little to no understanding of business, or economics, simply because whether or not you “or the majority of Americans want a bailout” it has to occur.

Just as the banking bailout had to occur.

You see my dear here is some simple mathematics for you.

1 person works at an auto plant. This 1 worker also has a mortgage.

38% of all auto workers have a spouse working in that plant.

If the auto industry is left to fail. Then you will see a homeless rate of over 60% in the USA.

    Why?

Because that is only one industry. There are residual industries which are affected.

Parts manufacturers, dealerships (of which most dealerships have a minimum of 10 staff and if you drive around any auto-mall and do some basic mathematics will see that the affected individuals – thus families – will total over 100 – where the average family consists of 1.4 individuals.

Now lets look at the automotive parts manufacturing sector shall we? Because there are factories all over the USA which produce parts for those same vehicles, which are produced by those same auto manufacturers whom you do not want bailed out of their situation.

You'll see entire towns, counties, cities and yes, even states fail and end up on welfare.

Now what will be the domino affect of that?
Well then the banks will need another bailout, because instantly there will be foreclosures of homes due to those in the auto industry – who are now out of work – incapable of paying their mortgages, thusly the banks will have to foreclose, which of course will then force the government to bail out the banks again.

I could go on and on and show you every single sector of society which will be affected. Advertising firms, law firms, textiles (they have to get the cloth for those cushy car seats from somewhere you see), print, lumber, technology, the oil industry, general unskilled labour markets and so on and so on.

I wouldn't be surprised if the failure of the auto industry would affect your livelihood as well, and let me ask you something? What do you stand to lose if you're laid off because of the domino cascade of either the banks or auto industry being allowed to fail?

And more so, this will cascade throughout the globe, since the affect the big three have on european markets, Asian markets, Australian, Canadian, British (UK) markets, and on and on again, is so influential that talking about

“It’s more of the same and like the original bailout – pounds and pounds of pork will be added at the taxpayers expense before it passes. Thank goodness for lobbyists – or who knows where we would commit the next 5 generations of tax money.”

is the epitome of ignorance. That comment in and of itself shows that you've already made your mind up, and didn't even make it to the bottom of the page where the quote of

“If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. – Bertrand Russell”

I didn't have to presume anything. You proved it for me in your comment. You showed your lack of information, education and knowledge.

You see, that is why I recommend education and information.

There is always more involved then what limited concepts you want to hear from your pastors, or republican political representatives, or even in conversations with your friends.

Anyone can have a “discussion.” Wisdom is shown in keeping one's mouth shut until all the information has been collected, examined, parsed throughout. Then a personal opinion and decision can be made, and that is why my dear, you haven't seen a blog from me in quite a while.

I don't just vomit what I “think” onto a page. I wait, I watch, I self-educate, inform, read, learn, and dissect all that is available, without caring or listening to what the media says. They are just the launch pad for me. I take their reference information and then run over to the library of congress, and any and all sources I can find – history, archeology, economics, and what have you, before I sit down and write a blog on anything.

I don't need my 15 minutes, because I realize that in some cases, speaking is silver and silence is golden.

Education and knowledge, and information are the cornerstone to sound, rational, critical thinking.

You might want to rewrite your comment. You haven't said anything in that comment. All you did was vent, and well, if you want to vent. Vent in your own blog. You should know well enough by now that on my blog, I'm going to thoroughly examine what you've written, and if you've written nothing I will either delete it and ignore it, or completely butcher it.

I kept your blog because you did the thing that I knew I could count upon. You proved my blog for me.

I think the most fun for me as to why I have left your comment and approved it is the following…

This blog had nothing to do with “whether we should or shouldn't bail them out” but about the contents of the bailout itself.

This blog was about Nationalization. About more control over the private sector. About finally instituting controls, checks and balances.

So, you didn't read it from the onset. You read about 3 lines and then formed and decided upon what it is you thought I was writing about, and then commented on that.

I can't possibly thank you enough for proving me so thoroughly.

  2. What to do with your unused #automotive parts. #recycle #cars #ecofriendly

  3. That happend to me once I had to change the circut or the fuse one of those depending on how old the car is.
