Close shave for distracted American driver
Megan Barnes of Cudjoe Key, Florida ended up on the wrong side of the law on Wednesday when she fled the scene of an accident. The Florida Highway Patrol says Ms. Barnes crashed into the back of a pickup truck, shortly before fleeing the scene.
While her actions may not sound rare, it was the cause of the accident that had police all cut up.
Ms. Barnes was busy trimming her bikini line, with her ex-boyfriend controlling the vehicle’s steering from the passenger seat.
Ms. Barnes told the Florida Highway Patrol that the trim was urgent, as she was “meeting her boyfriend in Key West and wanted to be ready for the visit.”
Her ride on the razor’s edge followed a driving under the influence charge just the day before, in addition to driving on a suspended license.
The 37-year old was charged with driving with a revoked license, leaving the scene of a crash with injuries and driving without insurance.
Ms. Barnes is expected to front the local court next week to defend her hairy predicament.

Wow, I would have loved to have been there for the awkward silence! And how surprising that no one's snapped him up yet! With an offer like that I'd rather stay home and wax my bikini line.
